The Fall issue of the Los Angeles Confidential magazine has some interesting photos from the Ivy Hotel opening. The first photo is of everyone's favorite John Mayer and the Ivy Hotel owner, Michael Kelly, with his girlfriend, Nicole Dahm, who happens to be wearing Tadashi. Below them on the left hand side is Tadashi himself with an Ivy Hotel butler wearing Tadashi's newest uniform creation.

Whats really good people? It’s your boy Beatnick this weekend has been quite nuts. It really started out on Thursday @ The IVY Hotel where DJ’s Fresh One & I hold down Thursdays. I don’t wanna let the cat out of the bag, but ladies you really are doing things on Thursdays, let’s keep this party going. Friday was pretty fresh at the Ivy Hotel as well, I got the call at around 5 asking where am i ? I thought I had to be on at 7 but after we figured out it was a miscommunication I hi-tailed it over there (from the beach) and made it on by 6:30. Once at the Ivy I made my way into the Quarter Kitchen I hopped on the decks and got briefed by my man Robert about the fashion show I was djing at 7. The fashion show was pretty interesting & all the ladies were very friendly wearing thier evening attire. The hostess was none other than Jessica Biel, whom while making her rounds was shaking it a little to your boy Beatnick’s beats (thanks Jessica). The designer Tadashi Shoji was in the house, at the end of the show he gave props for my selections. Thanks Tadashi, from artist to artist . . . real recognize real. I got a pic w/ Tadashi but it’s currently M.I.A. It’s now Sunday and I’m gearing up for the Beyonce Afterparty @ Stingaree tonight . . . If you are in SD you should come thru! I’m spinning nothing but R&B and Soul all night. peace.
