Planet Hope shows their appreciation for Tadashi's donation to the charity by sharing this heart-warming story....
Dear Tadashi,
After Sharon went on the Ellen Show, we had HUNDREDS of requests for girls in need of dresses. Obviously, because of the shortage of dresses that we DIDN'T have, we couldn't fulfill every request. We were bummed and upset we couldn't help more, but have to accept that that is just how it is.
Until....we had one viewer write in and say that she knew of a girl, victim of Hurricane Katrina who is now living with her uncle because her dad just passed away 3 weeks ago and she lost her mother in the hurricane. Couldn't afford to go to Prom, let alone buy a dress. There was not one person who could find her a dress, as she was in the Plus Size department and no one wanted, or could, help....This girl was not going to her Senior Prom, and that's ALL she asked for from her uncle as a graduation present.
WELL, here's where you come in because low and behold, after your second shipment of dresses, we were able to find Ms. Chelsea a dress and she is now attending her prom tomorrow! Tears in her eyes and hope in her heart, I am saying THANK YOU on behalf of this, now very happy, girl.
It's the single stories like that that make this all worth the while and we could not have done it without your help and your donation of dresses.
Thanks again,
Amanda
Deborah Messing was seen wearing a sunburst Tadashi printed cocktail dress at a press event in Los Angeles for her new show "The Starter Wife."

Sara Ramirez from the TV show Grey’s Anatomy was seen wearing Tadashi at back to back events in New York: the ABC Up Fronts and the People En Espanol 50 Most Beautiful event. Seems like we have another Tadashi fan on our hands.

Kelly Clarkson was recently seen wearing this sexy Tadashi gown at the Academy of Country Music Awads. MSN Entertainment had this to say about it:
Adjustin' to Kelly: In recent weeks, Kelly hasn't just stumbled on the red carpet -- she's tripped, caught air and face-planted with a resounding thud. Her flawed fashion statements have ranged from a green, pleated designer blob that screamed, "My stylist told me this looked good, but I suspect she secretly hates me," to a more casual ensemble of skinny jeans and a horizontal-striped shirt that sighed, "I give up." So it's refreshing to see the affable chart-topper went with unadorned and flattering basic black at the ACMAs, opting for a suicidally plunging halter-neck with sheer cutouts at the waist that draw attention to her va-va-va-voomy curves. This simple yet sexy look works well on Kelly, even if it doesn't exactly fit her fun, spirited personality. Our advice to Clarkson: Start exercising the same kind of control over your wardrobe as you have on your career by choosing what's right for you, not what someone else thinks is right for you.
LaKisha Jones was seen again in the American Idol Finale wearing Tadashi.
Though she didn’t win the competition – she is still a star in our hearts.

Last Monday night the Miss Universe beauty pageant was held in Mexico and once again Tadashi played an important part. All of the lovely ladies wore Tadashi for the opening sequence. Pictured below is our very own Miss USA, Rachel Smith, and the new Miss Universe, Miss Japan Riyo Mori.
