Third dress!

I just wanted to drop a line. I just purchased my third dress by Tadashi. I can't say enough how much I love the dresses. I bought the first one for a wedding, the second one for my engagement party and another one last night for my fiance's prom, which he teaches at the school.

I love the cut, the materials etc. I love them.

Thanks again for making dresses that can fit any body types.

My happy wedding in a Tadashi dress

Hi there
I got married in a vineyard in Malibu on April 22nd (in the freezing cold!) and wore the Tadashi dress I’d found last year that I knew I wanted to wear as soon as I saw it. Everyone commented on what a beautiful dress it was, and I felt like a princess, even though I’m now 52 years old. I wanted you guys to see it. It was comfortable, flattering, and easy to wear all day. I ended up buying it at a sale price at Saks Fifth Avenue. There’s a funny story behind how I bought it too. I found it before my fiance proposed, and knew I wanted to have it but wouldn’t buy it until he proposed. About two months later, after his proposal, I tried to track the dress down. The Saks 5th Avenue in Santa Barbara didn’t have it in my size any more, but they tracked one down in Indiana and FedEx’d it to me. By this time it was reduced to $160, so my underwear cost more than the dress!

I was sooo happy. And thought you’d like to see some photos of it.
Thank you Mr Tadashi, whoever and wherever you are!

Message from Tadashi RE: the Fall-Winter 2006 Collection

The TADASHI Fall-Winter 2006 Collection is inspired by and designed for the Tadashi Woman – a world traveler, who is sophisticated, intelligent and possesses an urban chic style that revolves around a passion for the good life. The Tadashi Woman craves adventure and seeks to celebrate life to the fullest, which takes her on journeys that explore interesting sites and new experiences. Throughout her travels, she enjoys the moodiness and calming aura of the Fall and Winter months by surrounding herself with rich textures and luxurious colors.

With the blink of an eye, our jetsetter is off to Paris, where she dines at the trendiest cafes and bistros; to London, where museums and galleries stimulate the mind; to Tokyo, where cutting edge fashion meets state-of-the-art technology, keeping her well-rounded and up-to-date. Whatever the city, she is dressed for the occasion in pieces from my new line, T by Tadashi, which features ready-to-wear pieces that parallel the style and mood of my eveningwear line. She is dressed in the utmost comfort and style in mesh separates, stretch taffeta blouses, wool separates, and modern denim jackets and skirts. Classic white button down shirts with lace detail and Victorian bustiers stand out as statement pieces.

The Tadashi Woman tops the guest list for the most prestigious art exhibit openings in New York City, the biggest blockbuster premieres in Los Angeles and the most extravagant galas in Miami. For these events, she turns to the luxury of the Tadashi Eveningwear Collection, which features my signature style with key pieces such as slip dresses with lace detail, metallic taffeta gowns and slinky sheaths. Animal prints and unique fabric textures define the classic silhouettes. Plunging necklines add a touch of sex appeal to well-tailored cocktail dresses that can transition seamlessly from day to night. A palette of rich, moody jewel tones are back again, from deep reds and purples to moody jades and seductive burnt sienna. In order to help the Fashionista tackle the cooler seasons, I offer her a wide collection of luxurious fox fur coats and rabbit fur shrugs and stoles.

Whether she’s out on the town for a social event or conducting business around the world, the Tadashi Woman eventually makes her way back to the sanctity of her own home, where she can decompress and unwind with the Tadashi Home Collection. The latest addition to the Tadashi family, the collection features six distinct unique and exotic aromatic candles, which have the ability to uplift, calm and inspire. Conscious of the environment, the Tadashi Woman appreciates that these are made of rare fine oils, with 100% soy wax and natural lead-free wicks.

I invite you to become a Tadashi Woman, a true style icon, one who experiences the finer things in life with urban chic style, sophistication and grace. Embrace the season and let yourself explore the world in grandeur!

Best,

Tadashi
