The August 19th issue of Women's Wear Daily talks about how the Olympics inspire various fashion designers and Tadashi is no exception.

Queen Latifah shines on the front cover of the Personal Journal/Style section in today's issue of The Wall Street Journal. She illustrates how Tadashi understands that not all women are a size 2. On the back are special behind-the-scenes shots of Tadashi working with his queen size fit model.

Introducing the latest Tadashi Shoji ads that will be appearing int the September issues of both In Style and Harper's Bazaar.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, wearing an aubergine gathered one shoulder blouson cocktail dress from the Tadashi Shoji Fall/Winter 2008 line, received a lot of attention at the recent Teen Choice Awards.

Monday's issue of Women's Wear Daily discusses Tadashi's newest store that will soon open in Beijing.

Recently Tadashi received this letter from a lovely women who wore a Tadashi gown for her silver wedding anniversary, which took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. She writes:

The event took place this last friday and was perfect. the dress was amazing, i was complimented countless times, and people are still calling me to compliment me for it! when i told them i bought it over the internet without even trying it on and without any option of returning it, they were amazed! it looks as if it was personally fitted and sown especially for my figure! I'm so happy that i had the courage to go for it!

I'm sending you some preliminary photos, I don't have access to all the photos yet so i don't know if there is one "representative" photo of me alone with all the length of the dress. anyway, you can use these ones if you want to, post it on the blog or whatever, i just wanted you to see it.

Again, its been a pleasure working with you, i hope that in the future I'll have many more happy events in which i will be able to wear Tadashi dresses!

We had a couple of celebrities wearing Tadashi over the weekend. First was Gossip Girl star Blake Lively wearing an aubergine gathered one shoulder blouson cocktail dress from the Tadashi Shoji Fall/Winter 2008 line. Then we had Actress Rosie Perez in this charming cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2008 Tadashi Collection at a Hollywood Foreign Press Luncheon event.

Queen Latifah shows the best way a plus size woman can show off her shape in the August issue of People magazine.

Many fashion shows are featured in the upcoming Fall/Winter issue of Harper's Bazaar and Tadashi is there among the best of them with samples from his Fall/Winter 2008 Tadashi Shoji line.

Last spring I drove down from the San Fernando Valley to the South Coast Plaza mall to buy my wedding dress....I fell in love with the Tadashi line but could not find one in white or beige at the local department stores to serve as a wedding dress, so I went online and found the Tadashi boutiques. From the moment I called I received nothing but the best service from your staff. When I came into the boutique, you knew who I was and helped me enormously to find just the right dress to be married in. You were extremely helpful and encouraging as I tried on several dresses until I found the perfect one. I have attached a copy of me wearing the dress at my wedding reception - we are dancing and this particular photograph shows off the dress beautifully. I can't even tell you how many compliments I received on the dress, even after the wedding my girlfriends were wowed by it!

Please tell Mr. Tadashi about this enormous happiness I experienced with your store - the service was excellent! And I was truly a most happy bride...thanks to you!
